Policies
  1. You must be a currently enrolled student (contract courses included) to make full use of the center's instructional network. A student ID is required and a photo ID may be requested under certain circumstances.
  2. Admission to the center is limited to college-age individuals (seventeen years and older) who need to use a computer. No visitors or children are allowed, due to the specialized nature of the equipment and space limitations. The Center cannot be used for a place for regular studying and socializing.
  3. Individuals may use the Center for coursework, their own resumes, and personal enrichment. Absolutely, no "business" or "for profit" applications are permitted. No game playing or installation of games is allowed.
  4. The Center's staff has the right to limit a user's access based on the following: time limits, nature of software applications, and equipment availability. Specifically, E-mail usage is limited to one-half hour and Internet usage is limited to one hour. No downloading or chat rooms are allowed while using the Internet.
  5. Unlicensed software is not allowed at the Center. Copying any software without the proper license is illegal and therefore, not allowed.
  6. The availability of software applications depends on the current curricula and staffing levels. Individual software needs cannot always be met.
  7. Under no circumstances can the Center's personnel do any work for you, academic or personal.
  8. When printing any documents in the lab, a maximum of 5 copies is allowed. If additional copies are needed, copy machines are available in the Sagtikos Arts & Sciences Library and the Academic Skills Center Annex located in the Health, Sports & Education Center room MA129.
  9. We are not liable for any data stored on networked drives since the security on Public drives are limited due to the nature of accessibility.
