Acrobat Reader -- This program is needed to view Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

Internet Explorer -- This program is needed to view websites.

PowerPoint Viewer -- This program is needed to view MS PowerPoint files.

QuickTime -- This program is needed to view digital videos.

Word Viewer -- This program is needed to view MS Word documents.

Winzip -- This program is needed to transform compressed files (zip files) to a usable form. Download it into an empty subdirectory on your hard drive, and then, in Windows Explorer, double click on the downloaded file which will have the name winzip95.exe. Follow the directions that appear on your screen to install the program.

Ws_ftp -- Download this file to an empty subdirectory on your hard disk. It will have the name wsftp968.zip, and must be uncompressed (unzipped) using the Winzip program, which must be installed on your system. Double click on the wsftp968.zip file to unzip it into many files. Using Windows Explorer, find the setup file and double click on it to install the program. Follow the directions that appear on the screen.
