A recipient of the State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching for 1995, Professor Kamil earned her graduate degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin.
She teaches Communication courses including Speech Improvement (CO10), Introduction to Human Communication (CO11), Voice and Diction (CO13) and Communication Disorders in Children (CO24).
She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State, and a Permanent Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped in New York State.
She and her husband are the proud parents of two children.
