2.   3.2 GPA for 30 credits
3.   Completed two ESS courses with a 4.0 GPA
4.   Ammerman Campus student
5.   Intend to pursue a career in the Earth/Space Science field
6.   Personal statement
7.   Faculty letter of recommendation from an ESS faculty member
8.   Student may attend SCCC for next semester or another school.
      Must provide verification of enrollment at other school if not attending SCCC.
9.   Recipient chosen by Earth/Space Science faculty committee

- Awarded to:   Full-time or Part-time students
- Award:   $500 (1-4 awards)
- Criteria:
- Deadline:   APRIL 15

1.   Completion of PHY 130, 132, 230, 232 and enrolled in, and expected to
      successfully complete, PHY 245 and PHY 246. Most grades must be "A".
      Grades in MAT 141, MAT 142, and MAT 203 will be considered,
      if physics grades do not clearly define the winner.
2.   Ammerman Campus student
3.   Recipient nominated and selected by Prof. Thomas Breeden, Academic
      Chair of the Physical Sciences Department.
4.   Need not attend SCCC in subsequent semester.

- Criteria:
- Deadline:   APRIL 15

1.   Completion of CHE 133, CHE 134, and CHE 250 or currently enrolled in CHE250,
      and expecting to successfully complete CHE 251. Most grades must be "A".
      Grades in MAT 141, MAT 142, and PHY 230, 232 will be considered,
      if chemistry grades do not clearly define the winner.
2.   3.5 GPA for 30 credits
3.   Declared Chemistry Major
4.   Ammerman Campus student
5.   Student may attend SCCC for next semester or another school. Must provide
      verification of enrollment at other school if not attending SCCC.
      Personal statement.
6.   Three faculty recommendations (from Science and/or Math Faculty).
7.   Recipient chosen by Dr. Jing-Yi Chin, Assistant Academic Chair of the
      Physical Sciences Department.
