The Emergency
Medical Care Program is dedicated to providing the highest quality of
education and training for Emergency Medical Responders. Our courses
vary in function but range from the training of the layperson in first
aid and CPR to the preparation of the advanced life support prehospital
provider
(Emergency Medical Technician-Critical Care).
The Emergency
Medical Care Program Faculty is comprised of veteran healthcare
professionals operating in the Emergency Medical Care field. Our
faculty members are recognized as leaders throughout the New York State
and Suffolk County EMS systems. The faculty of the Emergency Medical
Care Program brings their combined years of valuable working knowledge
in Prehospital Emergency Medical Care to share and guide in our
student’s success. Thus aiding in the creation of a well educated,
highly trained, and competent prehospital provider that will serve our
communities.
