On January 12, 2010, Haiti sustained a tragic earthquake that killed an estimated 200,000 people. It is believed that up to 250,000 people were injured and 2 million left homeless. Suffolk County Community College is working with the Suffolk County Legislature, and an array of internal and external organizations to provide assistance to the relief efforts. You can support these efforts in the following ways:

Benefit Concert and Fashion Show - 6 p.m.
Peconic Café, Eastern Campus, Riverhead

$7 students / $10 faculty / $15 community residents

The event will include sounds of African-American music with
the Billy Johnson trio, a DJ, dancing, and a student/faculty
fashion show. Dinner will be served. Please RSVP by calling
