| The Suffolk Community College Foundation currently sponsors two major fund-raising events each year: |
|
| The Salute to Excellence, held in the spring, honors outstanding business and community leaders who have made Long Island a better place to live and work. Since its inception in 1996, this event has attracted more than 300 "friends of the college" annually. Highlighting the celebration of the 50th Anniversary Year of Suffolk County Community College, the Salute to Excellence 2010 Gala will be held at Flowerfield in St. James in March 2010. |

The Charles F. Kelly, Jr. Memorial Golf Classic
takes place at a premier Long Island golf course and has become recognized
as one of Suffolk County's most prestigious events. |
