Intensive English Program

                                    NEW FULL TIME PROGRAM ON THE MICHAEL J. GRANT CAMPUS, THE AMMERMAN CAMPUS,  AND  THE EASTERN CAMPUS

The Intensive English Program serves the needs of the serious second-language learner who wants or needs to dedicate a significant number of hours per week towards language acquisition.  It is ideal for second-language learners preparing for college or university study, or for those wishing to increase their career options.

Program Description:

• Three levels of instruction:

                Beginner             Intermediate            Advanced

• Day or evening sessions available on Grant Campus.
• All levels provide balanced instruction and active practice in all of the skill areas: comprehension, speaking (including pronunciation), grammar, reading and writing.
• Language Lab is part of the regular course.
• Each level meets for 18 hours in class and 2 hours in lab each week.
• Each level meets for 12 weeks.
li>Day classes available on Selden and Riverhead campuses.

Cost:

The price for the 12-week 240-hour program is $1,215.00.  Students in each level will also be required to purchase textbooks for their classes.
