ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE


ESL Program Semester

The semester lasts twelve (12) weeks.
Students must attend class five (5) hours per week and language lab for one (1) hour per week.  Classes are offered in the evenings, mornings and on Saturdays.

 
 Preparatory:
	Pre-Level I                 5 hours		
		(includes reading,
		writing, speaking,
		and grammar).



 Low-Beginner:
	Level 1
		Conversation          2 hours
		Grammar               2 hours
		Reading/Writing       1 hour
		Total                 5 hours



 High-Beginner:
	Level 2
		Conversation          1 hour
		Grammar               2 hours
		Reading/Writing       2 hours
		Total                 5 hours



 Low-Intermediate:
	Level 3
		Conversation          1 hour
		Grammar               2 hours
		Reading/Writing       2 hours
		Total                 5 hours



 High-Intermediate:
	Level 4
		Conversation          1 hour
		Reading               2 hours
		Writing               2 hours
		Total                 5 hours



 Advanced:
	Level 5
	       Comprehensive              5 hours
	      (includes reading,
	       writing, speaking,
	       and grammar)
