The Entrepreneurial Assistance Center at Suffolk County Community College is offering a summer camp to students ages 13-16 in Suffolk County. It is a two-week intensive summer program aimed at providing students with a solid business background. The Youth Entrepreneurial Summer Camp will accomplish the following: • Demystify business concepts, making it fun for students interested in starting, managing and growing a small business • Students will participate in a series of business and financial literacy seminars, workshops and counseling in areas such as: marketing, financial reports, and business plan development • Creative thinking will be encouraged • Students will identify business opportunities • The program will strengthen self-esteem, foster a sense of purpose, encourage the continuation of education, and create unlimited opportunities for future success The camp will be held Monday thru Friday 9am to 2pm.
