INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

Information for New SLN Students

If you have never taken a course online within the SLN network, create an account and follow all instructions.

Be careful to select the correct campus and section number when enrolling into your course(s).

Click here to go to the SLN's "Create a new account" page and follow the directions below:

1. Click on Students

2. Click on Create SLN Account

Below: The results of your computer system check

3.Click on the button "yes, create an account".

4. Fill out the form

If your course does not meet on campus, you should select the fully asynchronous box.

Select Suffolk County Community College

Test your system and check the box

When prompted for your Social Security Number, enter your nine digit Social Security Number

Fill out the form and write down the password that you choose. Do not give your password to anyone

To Access your course after registration:

                - Click on http://sln.suny.edu/sln_studentlogin.htm to
                   go to the SLN login page
                - log in and enroll into your course(s) by selecting the
                   correct course, campus and section number.
                   Make sure to check your course schedule.
