• Make sure that you sign into your online course as soon as possible or you risk being locked out and possibly being withdrawn from the class.
• This course is not self-paced. In order to pass this course, you must follow the deadlines established by your instructor.
• Courses are available a week before classes start

• Your username is your seven digit SCCC ID#.
• Your password is your date of birth in the format: mmddyy

Once you have entered your course, you must change your password in the My SCCC DE, Tools Menu, Personal Information area.  In addition, you must enter an active daytime telephone number and your SCCC e-mail account information.  All Distance Education students must use their SCCC e-mail addresses; no other e-mail address will be accepted.

Creating a SCCC Email Account

If you have not created your SCCC e-mail account, go to http://sunysuffolk.edu. 

Click on the My SCCC link located in the upper right-hand corner of the college home page.

Follow all the instructions. When setting up your student account, the username will be your student ID # or SSN. Your password will be your date of birth (mmddyy). Make sure to enter an active daytime phone number.
