We recognize our commitment to returning students and to those in our community who require job-entry skills. For this reason, we have arranged to offer a select group of classes under a special fee arrangement.

 

 

GED AND LITERACY

 

XBS050/XBS051 GED PREPARATION                                                                                Tuition $76.00

Suffolk County Community College now offers a 30-hour literacy (GED) and college preparation course (XBS050/XBS051) on all campuses.  Students must pay a $76 tuition charge to participate.  This fee entitles the student to 30 hours of instruction. XBS050/XBS051 must be taken on the same days and times on the same campus.  Students must register and pay tuition for XBS050/XBS051 each semester they wish to prepare for the GED. Open enrollment begins on August 3, 2009. All students must be 18 years old or older to register for these classes.  For additional information, call (631) 451-4926.
